wro wrzesińska (they/them) is a Berlin-based polish digital artist working with new media, with a focus on 3D animation and video within installation and performance formats.
through digital and speculative visual language they explore themes of memory, identity and embodiment within personal and collective narratives. rooted in feminist ecology and affect theory, they investigate connections between human and non-human systems of knowledge and care practices as a non-hierarchical process of listening and response. their work unfolds through speculative narratives that de-focus the boundaries between bodies and environments, material and living archives, and create new timelines of coexistence.
wro has exhibited in Germany, Poland, Greece, and the UK, including at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art (Warsaw), and Seventeen Gallery (London).
they are a member of s-p-a-c-e collective.
